What will I be doing? 

Assisting the Sous Chef in day-to-day operation of the kitchen

Preparing menus as requested

Producing food for guests and team members efficiently, economically, and hygienically

Maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, according to recipes and standards

Using all equipment, tools, and machines appropriately

Assisting with inventory management

Working closely with the Stewarding department and all other kitchen staff

Maintaining a professional and positive attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and guests

What are we seeking? 

Commercial Cookery Cert IV or above

Minimum 1 year experience in similar role and minimum 1 year in commercial hospitality

Strong English communication

Confident leadership abilities

Knowledgeable in HACCP

Reliable and works well under pressure

Skilled in time management and organization

Ability to work in hot environments and stand on feet for long periods
