Hospitality Trainee

Mouth Waters Cafe are a busy, fast paced Cafe, Conference Centre and Caterer who are looking for a young person who is interested in becoming a Hospitality Trainee.

You’ll be working in a fun, small team environment. We’re a local business owned and operated for over 15 years by professional hospitality couple with a extensive experience in the industry. Lots to learn for the right person. Fantastic hours – Monday to Friday day shift only. Closed all public holidays and weekends.

In this role you’ll be completing a Certificate III in Hospitality. We are looking for a bright and bubbly hospitality trainee to join our team. The right applicant must be well spoken, friendly, well presented, keen to learn and willing to work. 

No experienced required but a passion for hospitality is a must. 

The successful candidate will: 

Be punctual and reliable. 

Have good communication skills. 

Be well presented.

Be willing to work weekends. 

​Work well in a team environment. 

Duties will include: 

Customer service. 

Food preparation and food safety. 

Hygienic practices. 

Waiting tables.

Take phone bookings. 

Cleaning of restaurant. 

Preparing tables before service. 

Some barista training. 

Recent school leavers alongside candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply for this position.
