About the Opportunity
Within Advanced Analytics we’re pioneering to use data, AI and ML to change the way that Australians socialise and how our team creates memorable experiences. As an AI product leader, you’ll work with our Data teams to meet our business objectives while ensuring that we’re sustainably and ethically creating industry defining technology. 

You’ll work across all of our group brands, who are privileged to create service more than 6 million australians with every month; tackling challenges from optimising our range to make sure we’ve got the best beer on the tap, through to analysing one of australia’s 10 largest supply chains to make sure we’re delivering local and fresh products.

  • The AI product manager will deliver new data products to bring these principles to life into all parts of our business including merchandising, operations and support functions across retail and hotels. Working in conjunction with our data science, analytics and technology teams plus external supporters you will develop the roadmap for your product and lead a squad (or number of squads) to deliver the roadmap. 

    This role will operate at both an operational and strategic level to: 

  • Lead the strategic design of your Product to deliver meaningful value to our business and our customers; balancing short and long term benefits
  • Design and deliver against your agile roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders and customers to create measurable value.
  • Create customer, business and stakeholder alignment to your squads outcomes
  • Partner with your Delivery lead to create an empowered cross functional team
  • Where does my role fit?: 
    The Advanced Analytics Product teams are a new tribe set within the Endeavour Group, working across all aspects of our business from Digital customer experiences, to AI dashboarding products and models to predict the weather!

    With over 150 team members within the Tribe over the last 12 months, we’ve got ambitious plans to continue to grow over the next 3 years.

    This role, alongside a number of other product manager roles is a key leadership role within the new tribe. The role will collaborate with diverse teams and leaders across the business including other tribes and squads to launch digital products, ranging from perfecting the beers at the bar, through to tools to transform our day to day operations. 

    You will also play a key role in supporting development and roll out of the data-led transformation strategy and driving a cultural change towards agile ways of working and becoming a data-led business. Career development and capability development from a product management perspective will be provided through our experienced Group Product Managers within the Tribe 

    A day in the life of a Product Manager

  • Leading your Product, you’ll ensure teams are creating lasting value and delivering against our vision
  • Design the product roadmap for the development of new meaningful new features, and functionality, that adds measurable value to customers.
  • Bridge the team with business stakeholders (internal customers) from design through to delivery.
  • Work with other product managers to ensure cross-team dependencies and strategic priorities are balanced for short and long term value.
  • Maximises the value of the work done by: Ensuring the squad backlog is clearly expressed and visible, transparent and clear to all. Work with the your team to define milestones and ensuring delivery to plan Prioritise opportunities, identifying the value of each to ensure that we’re solving problems that matter and have the greatest impact to our customers Achieving revenue and CODB performance OKRs
  • What you’ll need to succeed

  • 3+ years experience working with Data
  • 5+ years experience in Customer or Digital Product Development
  • Experience working in an agile organisation or with cross functional teams
  • Retail and Hospitality experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with high functioning empowered product teams
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
