Senior Manager, Digital Technologies

  • Salary: $129,379 – $173,138 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing role
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)
  • This position is in the Telecommunications and Digital Economy branch. The Telecommunications and Digital Economy branch focusses on supporting Victoria’s digital economy and seeking greater economic and social value from new and existing private and public digital infrastructure.

    We do this by supporting the development of Victoria’s digital ecosystem and capabilities, the growth of the information and communications technology sector, and digitalisation across the wider economy.

    We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who is enthusiastic about supporting a thriving tech sector and digital economy in Victoria. Reporting to the Director, Digital Economy, you will lead a small team in a collaborative environment to provide policy advice and deliver industry development projects which support Victoria’s tech sector and broader digital economy. You will engage across government, industry and universities to develop and facilitate a pipeline of industry development projects and support their effective implementation. This role leads on delivery of a range of activities which support the ‘thriving digital economy’ pillar of Victoria’s Digital Strategy 2021-2026.

    The position requires established industry experience and/or tech sector knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, highly developed analytical skills and flexibility to respond to an evolving industry environment.
