The Position!

  • The role in a nutshell Take ownership of your own OSHC service as a 2IC with an amazing Mentor and lead a team to provide a fun and quality program built by the children, for the children at Carramar Primary School. This exciting opportunity covers both before and after school care hours (7:00am – 9:00am and 2:15pm – 6:00pm) Monday to Friday and vacation care .This permanent part-time role is open to those experienced in working with children, confident in their ability to lead and ready to progress to the next level of their career in OSHC.  What to expect

  • Assist in planning and delivery of activities based on the children’s interest and your own skills
  • Teamwork to create interesting and varied program’s
  • Food preparation, paperwork, reporting and light cleaning duties.
  • Assisting children with a variety of additional needs, being mentored by expert educators in the field.
  • About you

  • Commitment to our company values and philosophy
  • Must hold a Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care , Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care or
  • Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioral science or nursing
  • Availability over Monday to Friday 27.50 hours per week
  • The ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Experience with children with additional needs is beneficial. 
  • Must hold a Working with Children’s Card and Drivers License
