    About the team and role

    The People & Culture (P&C) Team are seeking a passionate and energetic recruiter with strong in-house recruitment and student recruitment experience, who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their career.

    As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will work alongside our hiring managers and other key stakeholders to provide talent acquisition support and advice, including:

  • Managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process for a variety of legal and legal support roles within the VGSO, including conducting job briefs, setting search strategy, sourcing, screening, recommending candidates for interview and effective offer management
  • Proactively identifying internal and external candidates to meet VGSO’s talent needs
  • Ensuring a personalised, positive experience for all candidates and stakeholders, whilst contributing to a strong employee value proposition
  • Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure we attract talented people from the breadth of the communities in which we operate
  • This position will also ensure all recruitment policies and processes applicable to VGSO are reflective of best practice, and remain relevant for VGSO to achieve its objectives

    Skills and experience

  • Previous internal / in-house recruitment experience
  • Well-developed relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of providing service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and create a high-touch candidate experience
  • Ability to share VGSO’s value proposition to increase and strengthen its brand in the market
  • Experience in high volume Student/Graduate recruitment programs will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded
