Sustainability Manager – Whizdom Recruitment

Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Sustainment Manager to join their team in Canberra, ACT. The Sustainment Manager will be responsible, under limited direction, to develop and manage processes to sustain a complex ICT capability.

The Sustainment Manager will manage activities and processes relating to procurement, finance, specific and general administration activities including procurement planning, scheduling, tracking, and contract management.

The Sustainment Manager will have a proven ability to work cohesively and communicate effectively with internal service managers, internal and external customers, and external service providers.

Skills and Knowledge:

•  Knowledge and experience of Project Support and/or Contract Management is desirable.

Major Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to create and leverage inter-Governmental agreements.
• Create financial documentation to ensure commercial and inter-Governmental agreements are paid in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report upon deliverables against agreements and capability milestones.
• Manage routine maintenance schedules and issue tasking instructions in a timely manner.
• Procure ICT-related goods and services.
• Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.
• Create and monitor service provider contracts.
• Provide administrative support to the capability manager including recording meeting minutes and complying with information management and record keeping practices.
• Support productive working relationships by working cohesively and flexibly with team members, customers and suppliers.

Location:
The role is based in Canberra ACT. Note: Part time working arrangements may be considered and supported on a case-by-case basis.

 
Contract terms:
Between 12 and 24 months.

SFIA security level required:
 The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.

Security Requirements:
Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
