About the role

We are looking for a Senior Grant Writer to be an essential part of supporting our amazing SME clients to grow their businesses!

As a Senior Grant Writer, you will review grant announcements to identify the best programs for our clients, meet with businesses to help them develop exciting new projects, write high quality applications and work with government-funded programs to deliver great outcomes!

This role is perfect for an adaptable and creative thinker, with the ability to think outside of the box to merge client needs and the grant program objectives.

About the R&D and Government Incentives team

Our very own R&D and Government Incentives team are specialists in seeking funding for growing businesses. We partner with clients with big ideas and support them to secure funding through various programs.

We get excited about aspirational businesses and help them to pursue their goals!

What you’ll be doing

• Research business grant programs and identify great opportunities to fund our clients’ growth plans
• Assist the Directors with selling grants services
• Work with businesses to learn about and help to plan their grant-funded projects
• Prepare high-quality, well-written grant applications, and project planning documents on behalf of our clients
• Create budget documents to demonstrate the use of funds
• Manage junior support staff who will assist you day to day

We want to hear from people who have:

• Degree qualified in a field involving research and writing as part of course work, such as report or writing
• At least 2 years of experience with business consulting, research and report writing
• Experience with grant writing, tender writing or regulatory reporting preferred
