We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales Team. Reporting into the National Business Manager – Food Service, you will be based in South East Queensland and accountable for developing relationships and the sales function within the entire Queensland region. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Selling and maintaining distribution of existing and new Bulla products into the territory  
  • Optimising sales growth, market share and profitability in line with company objectives 
  • Sales forecasting & trade spend management  
  • Developing and managing end user relationships as required. 
  • Implement a Customer Call Plan that ensures all customers are managed and supported based on business requirements 
  • Sell and maintain distribution for New Product Developments 
  • Continually improve product distribution for current ranged lines and products not in customer product range 
  • Effectively communicate with customers’ activity that may have a direct or indirect effect on business decisions in a timely and concise manner 
  • Achieve agreed sales budgets within customer Trading Terms or agreed spend levels as designated by the National Business Manager 
  • Maintain product-pricing position and trade spend in line with company pricing strategy and ROI requirements 
  • Maintain the Sales Forecast Database with any key increase or decrease requirements in with Company procedure 
  • Participate in Tradeshows as required 
  • Respond appropriately to queries or complaints from customers or end users within the territory 
  • Development of relevant and appropriate Promotional Programs and delivery of goals on target (time, budget, quality, quantity – as prescribed in Annual Performance Plan) 

You will have: 

  • 3 years minimum experience within a Foodservice or similar selling environment 
  • Detailed knowledge of Foodservice market 
  • Preferred Tertiary Qualifications in business related area (not essential) 
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence 
  • A clear understanding of the ACCC guidelines in relation to customer pricing agreements 
  • A sound understanding of selling principles 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and writing), presentation and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to effectively analyse a range of complex information to accurately determine market/customer/competitor trends and opportunities. 
  • Effectiveness in managing internal and external relationships. 
  • Ability to occasionally travel interstate
