About the Opportunity

Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, and various key stakeholders across both ALH and Endeavour Group; your main responsibilities are simple – live our ways of working and values, and connect our Team to the ALH business strategy, bringing the purpose and brand identity to life through engaging written, video and digital internal communications content. 

This role is critical to aligning our ALH communications activities and channels with the broader Endeavour Group internal communications strategy.
It will also involve:

  • Supporting the ALH Internal Communications Manager to deliver the ALH communications strategy including embedding purpose, values and ways of working.
  • Managing the flow of all internal communication while prioritising timeliness, accuracy and tone of voice to bring our purpose, values and ways of working to life. 
  • Provide strategic communications advice and best methods of delivery for communications.
  • Develop a range of written, video and digital communications content and provide clear, concise, accurate and necessary information by effectively utilising internal comm’s channels. 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and drive communications plans for activities, initiatives and events, staying up to date with best practices and trends.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all digital mediums and recommend opportunities to enhance the user experience based on data and insights.

You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll have prior experience in internal communications and meticulous attention to detail.
    You’ll also have:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or extensive experience in industry.
  • Exceptional written, editing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of story ideation, storytelling and problem-framing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills – being able to use data to help tell effective and engaging stories. 
  • Effective project management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders in a matrix environment and communicate across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven success in utilising a collaborative approach to work, you enjoy contributing to a team environment and consistently think outside the box.
  • Experience working in a large, complex matrix organisation is desirable with prior retail/hospitality industry experience also advantageous.
  • Experience working in a Google based environment is desirable but not essential.
