Sales Specialist 2 – Sales And Proposal

Job Description

:

  • Meet with distribution and transmission utilities, Generation companies and industries to Formulate, develop and execute competitive proposals while controlling operational and commercial risks.

  • Carry out reviews of terms and conditions and ensure they are in line with GE guidelines

  • Lead and influence commercial meetings and negotiations with customers

  • Manage and control the business CRM system (Salesforce) and ensure accurate data is input and regularly updated to allow you to provide accurate Sales plans.

  • Commit and deliver quarterly order budgets

  • Defined sales strategy for targeted clients.

  • Data quality of the CRM database to be controlled and managed

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of own discipline. Developing knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

  • Collaborate with others to solve issues

  • Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.

  • About you:

  • Electrical Engineer or Electrical trade qualification

  • Experience or knowledge of installation and maintenance of high voltage products

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of the sales process (quotes, bid, tendering to sales)

  • Ability to write content for tender and did documentation

  • Ability to maintain and establish effective relationships with stakeholders

  • Location:

  • Sydney or Melbourne based
