    About the role

    Bring your content strategy and operations expertise to one of the most-visited sites in the NSW Government – education.nsw.gov.au, you’ll lead a team of passionate advocates for customer-centric content who are at the forefront of running a complex website for parents, educators and community members in the education sector.

    You will be responsible for the management and quality of the content across the department’s digital channels, with a focus on increasing engagement and positive customer behaviours. You will also be:

  • Championing and delivering the department’s content governance framework
  • Leading stakeholder engagement and providing direction on new digital content projects
  • Managing and developing your team to build a high-performance and creative team environment.
  • Developing innovative strategies in collaboration with project leads and digital and communication subject matter experts to achieve the department’s strategic priorities

    About you

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading digital content strategy and delivery in a large corporate environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders to champion projects and strategies
  • Thrives in a high-volume, high-pressure environment and can navigate complex government requirements
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to identify trend and performance expectations based on operational considerations and optimize digital content strategy to achieve results
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Essential requirements of the role

  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment
  • Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar applications
  • Strong knowledge of all streams of contemporary digital practice including design, content strategy, data management, architecture
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
