About the role:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Promotions Specialist to join the high performing GOLD104.3 promotions team based in Richmond. Reporting into the Promotions Manager, you will assist with the management and implementation of an array of projects including listener events, on-air promotions, client campaigns, partnerships, national web competitions and social media promotions. This really is a dream role with the opportunity to work with Melbourne’s #1 Breakfast Show, The Christian O’Connell Show and Melbourne’s #1 station, GOLD104.3.
You will:

  • Assist with all GOLD104.3 promotional activity including client lead campaigns, content campaigns, competitions, events, activations and partnerships, in support of the Promotions Manager.
  • Assist with the development and rollout of all The Christian O’Connell Show events and activations, past examples include – Wedding In A Week, Kitchen O’Connell with Pseudo Echo and Tradie Games
  • Assist with all prize facilitation, terms and conditions, Audata, Salesforce, entrant management, prize draws, contest sheets, digital briefs.
  • Manage all campaign, partnerships and events branding including managing marketing and client approvals as required.
  • Manage all event requirements including risk assessments, waivers, insurance, permits and run sheets.
  • Manage Terms and Conditions and prize sourcing and helping manage incoming promotional opportunities for all GOLD104.3 shows.
  • Assist with internal and external commercial and publicity briefs.
  • Manage all live campaigns by providing progress updates, post campaign reports, airchecks, ticketing and prize fulfilment.
  • Establish strong relationships with local PR agencies and sales teams to support sourcing and management of contra for local benchmarks.

  • About you:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar environment – ideally within radio, TV, events or media promotions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications or similar is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Proven Project Management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce desirable.
  • Proven experience in creation and delivery of cross platform integrated campaigns.
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements and deadlines simultaneously.
