Job Description
The Opportunity:
Newly created role! We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to build and drive Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capability by identifying opportunities, applying appropriate models, and facilitate the implementation of AI solutions to solve business problems to deliver value.
The role will be accountable to the Head of Data and the incumbent can work flexibly from home and our Southbank office – hybrid model.
Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse data to draw insights, patterns and conclusions that will enable the business to improve their products, services, processes or to develop new strategies
- Build, implement and embed Machine Learning algorithms to address business concerns and/or opportunities
- Develop and implement a framework to present insights to the business and advise on potential enhancements to existing processes.
- Deliver insights to drive data driven business decisions
- Design, develop, and deploy data science models for customer segmentation that includes machine learning and artificial intelligence, while maturing the business data science capabilities through implementation of best practice and fit for purpose solutions.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have sound experience working in a similar role and have experience working with vendor created AI models. You will have solid knowledge of data warehousing and data like technology best practices and able to translate and use data insights to solve commercial problems.
The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
