French Assistant

About theRole 

The School is seeking to appoint aninspirational and collaborative French Assistant who will join theSchool in its quest for excellence in learning. You will workalongside French teachers to provide a vibrant, dynamic andinnovative educational program for our students. The successfulcandidate will be fluent in both French and Englishlanguages. 

The French Assistant will assist withthe preparation of resource materials, including searching forauthentic materials online, creating ‘exemplar’ samplesof written and spoken work, assisting with small-group conversationpractice and similar activities; assisting teachers to givefeedback on students’ writtenwork. 

AboutYou 

You are dedicated, passionate andpossess the following: 

• Be fluent in both French and English languages. 
• The ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff. 
• Administrative and organisational skills. 
• Communication and interpersonal skills. 

All team members at CGS are requiredto have: 

• A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card 
• A current National Police Check; and 
• Full working rights within Australia
