Job Description

The Position 
  
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the organisation of the generalist HR administration, workforce planning and rostering. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of workforce capacity for the team and ensuring a positive onboarding and team member experience. 

This is a part-time role for an initial 12 month, fixed-term contract. The part-time nature will look to be around three to four days per week, depending on your situation & preference. This business has around 100 staff and operates in the pharmacy sector, with warehouse distribution centres in Sydney. 
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Warehouse Managers with rostering and scheduling in particularly at peak times;
  • Manage workforce flow to ensure adequate support during periods;
  • Recruitment of new team members, managing the Seek account, advertising new roles, screening candidates and scheduling interviews;
  • Onboarding of new teams, administration of Letters of Offer and all other employee information, team member compliance with company policies and ensuring training has been completed;
  • Act as the key point of contact with the third-party payroll provider and address any issues from the onboarding process;
  • Coordinate the off-boarding process. 

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships quickly;
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously;
  • Strong organisational skills will be essential to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively;
  • Solution-focused approach to problem-solving, with the ability to find a pragmatic outcome;
  • This is an entry level HR role and would be suited to a new Human Resources Graduate or someone starting out on their HR career in a supportive environment.
