An exciting opportunity exists for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join a fun, supportive and dynamic team, on a full time, fixed term 6-month contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Talent Acquisitoin Advisor will work closely with the HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers in the provision of end-to-end recruitment activities across the business.
 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited too):
 

• Deliver best practise and process control across the YMCA Brisbane and Y-Care, ensuring the delivery of positive candidate experience, with the most effective application and selection methods to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Developing innovative job advertisements and advertising strategically through a diverse range of career platforms.
• Provide ongoing support, training and advise to hiring managers around recruitment processes, salary, and recruitment market trends
• Attend local and industry specific networking and educational events to engage with the community, represent the Y and gain knowledge about current and forecasted recruitment and workforce trends.
• Develop monthly reports in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team for the board meeting to showcase recruitment trends using analytical data and statistics.
• Lead and/or support with the development, roll out and evaluation of recruitment campaigns, projects and strategies through liaising with the marketing team, HR Business Partners, and other business areas.
• When required, assist with HR projects. Collaborate, research and present results and assist with the development of action plans.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will show innovation, strategic thinking and be passionate about building solid relationships with stakeholders. You will also meet the following Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an agency or internal recruitment role with experience in medium to large organisation;

• Ability to develop and deliver targeted recruitment and retention strategies
• Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills;
• High attention to detail and standard of work;
• A consultative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills and positive networking capabilities;
• Ability to manage workload with sense of urgency to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy;
• Positive Notice Blue Card; or willingness to obtain
• Current Drivers Licence

Desirable:

• Experience with Success Factors or similar HRIS systems;
• Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or equivalent.
