TRP stores aim to providing the same high level of customer service and support for owners of all trucks, new and old, just as PACCAR’s Kenworth DAF dealerships provide industry leading support for those brands. TRP Somerton is based on Cooper Street in Campbellfield supporting customers primarily across Melbourne’s northern suburbs and adjacent rural areas.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, proactive and outcome focused Store Supervisor to lead the TRP Store team to provide excellent customer service to all customers in relation to parts sales and supply.  This role will utilize your negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills whether it will be assisting the internal sales staff to make deals, develop the retail business to ensure the team deliverers efficient customer services in the Parts Store whilst meeting your sales budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify performance and training needs in consultation with Parts Sales Manager and Learning and Development
• Pro-actively support the company’s pursuit of an excellent customer service culture
• To provide outstanding customer service to customers for enquiries received via the counter, telephones and e-mail
• To assist with Customer Connect enquiries as a priority, processing orders, bar coding parts
• To actively promote monthly, quarterly specials; new products
• To entertain clients as required to develop relationships
• Promote new products to existing and new clients
• To arrange for supplier sponsored trials of new and existing products to increase the profile and sales of TRP
• Pick and pack orders for courier deliveries or customer pick up as required
• Prepare weekly order invoicing for the customer to transact the sales
• Carry out cycle counts
• Regularly review customer store sales and account sales

What we like about you

• Understanding of sales presentation and skills in negotiation
• Previous demonstrable experience in leading and motivating staff and enthusiasm to lead in small teams
• Current Forklift license Essential
• Strong computer literacy and advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office
• Excellent planning and organisation skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge in parts / mechanical aptitude will be strongly advantageous
