Handyman Maintenance Officer

We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer at The Bend Motorsport Park.

In your new role you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all buildings and whole of site facilities including Main Welcome Centre, Big 4 Holiday Park, East Circuit Building, 4 x 4 Building, Kart Drome building and Dragway Building as well as any sundry buildings current or future.

What will you be responsible for?

• Attend promptly to issues, investigate cause, plan and action repairs in a way that is time efficient and cost effective
• Carry out day to day repairs required to a high standard
• Follow up on repairs and defects until they are resolved
• Minimise the downtime of building services and equipment
• Document jobs lists and repairs
• Where needed assist, create/develop, and implement an annual preventative maintenance program in conjunction with the Facilities manager
• At times liaise with contractors, implement sign in process, allow access and over seeing some jobs.
• Carry out minor painting projects and furniture repairs.
• Minor plumbing and carpentry repairs
• Create and maintain a spares inventory to facilitate emergency repairs
• Investigate and organise spares, materials and tools required to complete tasks.
• Prepare and present minor quotes.
