Mechanical Fitters – Field Service

Our client is a global market leader for measuring and process technology solutions, with a local specialisation into vibrating screens at CHPP’s. Their service division is rapidly expanding due to unprecedented growth across Australian industry. As a result, we are looking for a 3 x Field Service Mechanical Fitters based at their Newcastle workshop.

What’s involved?

OEM mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs on vibrating screens on customer CHPP’s and mine sites

Regular travel to and from local customer sites, plus workshop work

Mobilise Mondays, 1-2 nights away from home during the week, demobilise Fridays

Occasional weekend and interstate work, a few times per year

Work as a team for safe execution of all maintenance under OH&S management systems

What are we looking for?

Mechanical Trade Qualification

MR Licence highly regarded but not essential

Experience and / or knowledge of mining industry and safety expectations

Able to pass coal board medical order 43 and police check

A can do attitude and proactivity to execute projects

Excellent work references that can support your application

What we can offer you:

Full time, permanent opportunity

$120K Salary + Super

Paid travel, accommodation and meals

$88 daily site allowance + $198 daily weekend allowance

Days in lieu for all weekend works on top of site allowance

Full OEM product training and specialised equipment training
