Job Description

Our client is a global market leader for measuring and process technology solutions, with a local specialisation into vibrating screens at CHPP’s. Their service division is rapidly expanding due to unprecedented growth across Australian industry. As a result, we are looking for a 3 x Field Service Mechanical Fitters based at their Newcastle workshop.

What’s involved?

  • OEM mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs on vibrating screens on customer CHPP’s and mine sites
  • Regular travel to and from local customer sites, plus workshop work
  • Mobilise Mondays, 1-2 nights away from home during the week, demobilise Fridays
  • Occasional weekend and interstate work, a few times per year
  • Work as a team for safe execution of all maintenance under OH&S management systems

    • What are we looking for?

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • MR Licence highly regarded but not essential
  • Experience and / or knowledge of mining industry and safety expectations
  • Able to pass coal board medical order 43 and police check
  • A can do attitude and proactivity to execute projects
  • Excellent work references that can support your application
