About the position

St Peter’s College is seeking applications to appoint an Administrative Assistant in the Boarding House to commence at the beginning of Term 2, 2023.

The Administrative Assistant is required to provide pastoral care and support to the Boarders, monitor the movement of students in and out of the House, whilst also providing administrative support for staff, students and families.

This is a part-time, ongoing position working 20.5 hours per week (term time only), Monday – Thursday, 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm, and Friday from 8.30 am – 5.30 pm.

As the successful applicant you will:

  • A willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to forge relaitonships with Boarders and their families, as well as with staff and the community.
  • Have a mature approach, with a caring and understanding nature.
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills.

Previous experience working in a Boarding House or school environment is highly desirable.

Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to have a South Australian Working with Children Check and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education & Care (RRHAN-EC) Certificate – Fundamentals.
