Location: Tumut District Hospital, Tumut

The Opportunity

We are currently searching for a motivated team player to come onboard as a Food and Cleaning Assistant at Tumut District Hospital, a local facility in the picturesque town of Tumut, located on the banks of the Tumut River at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in NSW.

Working across a seven-day rotating roster, in this position, you will be responsible for order taking, meal assembly, meal preparation and distribution of patient meals, recording intake, dishwashing and other associated kitchen duties.

You’ll need to make hygiene, safety, and customers your top priority while you effectively work towards maintaining a sanitary and safe hospital environment. You will be responsible for cleaning all patient and non-patient work areas in accordance with infection control procedures. You’ll also receive and pack incoming stores items, restock and collect linen, and conduct waste removal.

    COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance
