The Role

We are seeking an energised hospitality professional with a passion for service to join our Team as Front Office Manager on a full time basis.
 

In this hands on Head of Department role you will manage the front office function of the property. You hold the following primary responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the front office departments
  • Monitor and respond to Guest reviews ensuring trends and areas of opportunity are identified and actioned 
  • Recruit, select, onboard, train and continuously develop the team
  • Manage the front desk operation for the duration of your shift and participate in all tasks ie. check in, check out, amenities, reports, responding to enquiries, arrival calls
  • Drive loyalty initiatives resulting in high engagement and sign ups 
  • Ensure outstanding and personalised service is delivered at every guest interaction
  • Handle guest complaints efficiently, with dignity and respect for both the guest and the Accor name
  • Supervise and monitor Team Members with true leadership ability that motivates the entire team
  • Onboard and train new team members and support the continued development of established team members
  • Support the preparation of rosters and departmental administration
  • Emergency management 

About You

  • Previous experience in a Hotel Front Office 
  • Computer savvy with well-developed Microsoft office skills and use of specialised property management systems
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a team
  • A vibrant, and outgoing personality driven to engage with guests and ensure they have a memorable stay
