Over the last three years, our business has adapted to the obvious challenges and we have consolidated our status as Australia’s leading community pharmacy group.   As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently looking to recruit a HR Coordinator to support our HR Team on a twlve-month maximum-term basis.

About the Role
Working as part of a fun and supportive HR Services team, the HR Coordinator provides HR coordination and support for our store owners, employees, and HR team members. Reporting to a HR Lead in this fixed-term contract for 12 months, the HR Administrator will work closely with other administrators and HR advisors to deliver a range of administrative services with a particular focus on recruitment and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be providing administrative support to our store network. Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: –

  • Accurate generation and processing of employment related documentation (employment contracts, variations to contract, onboarding documentation etc.) using our online HR system.
  • Conducting employment screening checks to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly liaising with line managers in stores, along with internal colleagues, to ensure HR compliance and/or to complete requests.
  • Coordinating the workflow within the HR Admin team for recruitment requisitions, ensuring that the HR Lead is kept informed on the volume of work and any relevant trends.
  • Coordinating the administrative tasks required for sponsorship applications and store development activities.
  • Acting as the first point of escalation within the HR Admin team .
  • Responding to general telephone and email queries in a timely manner and escalating when necessary.
  • Following up outstanding paperwork to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining our internal databases to ensure employee records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and induction for new HR team members.
  • Providing feedback to the HR Lead on ways to improve processes or operate more efficiently.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be an administration superstar who loves making sure that things are organised and in order. You are very content doing administrative work and get enormous satisfaction from helping others.

In addition, the successful applicant will have: 

  • Strong experience working as an Administrator or Coordinator in a fast-paced office environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence peers and other colleagues
  • High levels of resilience and drive, along with a strong customer service ethic
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask and be highly organised
  • The ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • A level of autonomy and know when to escalate an issue
  • Intermediate PC skills, including with the MS Office suite of applications
