The Melbourne Zoo is beautiful venue in a fun outdoor environment setting with a wide range of exotic flora and fauna. We are a great team with a strong commitment to the environment and wildlife.

Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have a casual opportunity for an experienced Retail Team Leader. We offer a fantastic team environment and full training of our processes and procedures.

The position

• Running Café operation on daily basis (ensuring compliance with contract and service standards)
• Opening and closing of operations. 
• Managing your daily workload while achieving high quality output in volume
• Providing management guidance to front of house team.
• Supporting and training new team members
• Provide hands on food and beverage service
• Barista experience required
• Ensuring outstanding customer service is provided to the customer

About You!

• Proven ability to lead a team
• Understanding of Commercial hospitality operation
• Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
• Adaptable and thrives in a multi-tasking environment
• Great personal presentation and an outgoing personality
• Available across a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
