The Role

As a Pulp Mill Boiler Operator, you are responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation and monitoring of plant and equipment within the Pulp Mill including; Digester, Fibreline, Recausticising, Lime kiln, chemical recovery, power /steam system and utilities within a closed-loop, integrated pulp and paper mill.

Your strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure will suit this fast paced environment. And your attitude where no job is too small, passion to learn new skills, and ability to lead by example, will fit right into the team.

Equipment operated in these areas include:

• Chemical Recovery Boiler
• Power boiler
• Turbine
• Steam distribution System
• Evaporators
• Recrystallization Plant
• Water and effluent Treatment Plant

What you will bring to the team

• Qualification within the Engineering Field;  Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Industrial, Process or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Operator in a Pulp Mill
• Boiler and Turbine ticket is highly advantageous
