Your team:

The Superannuation Product team is responsible for product management of superannuation products offered by Colonial First State.

Your roles and responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the role are to support the product management activities of the superannuation portfolio through the application of product knowledge, analytical skills and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Day to day product management of the Direct Superannuation offer
  • Look for opportunities and deliver productivity enhancements
  • Support the development and execution of product strategy
  • Assist with risk management related activities such as controls testing, investigation and management of breach incidents and activities to support business risk forums
  • Relationship & contract management of a material outsource arrangement
  • Help ensure the superannuation products meet compliance requirements and operate within the Trustee’s risk appetite
  • Analysis of the market and competitor products
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and issues in the super industry
  • Support the development of comprehensive price modelling and analysis
  • Undertake research, analysis and review
  • Accountability for regulatory disclosures and member collateral
  • Support the implementation of regulatory change strategy
  • Your capability and experience:

  • Demonstrated product management experience within the wealth management sector. Product specific experience within the superannuation industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the superannuation industry and surrounding regulatory environment is preferred
  • Good relationship/stakeholder management
  • Strong ownership of issues and tasks assigned
  • Strong research, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to comprehend and apply complex technical concepts in a business/customer context
  • High performing individual with ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advocate and driver of optimal outcomes for the customer
  • Proactively identifies, escalates and acts on identified risks
  • Your background will be in Wealth Management and you most likely have a Finance or similar qualification.
