Job Description

WA Sales Manager – Media Advertising is responsible for maximising revenue for Foxtel Media partners across a wide portfolio of channels, platforms and sites. Working in a standalone position, you will be required to develop and service relationships with Media agencies and directly with key clients in the Perth market, to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across Foxtel Media.

For the right candidate, this role provides an opportunity to build Foxtel Media’s presence in the Perth market, own key relationships and work autonomously with the backing and support of national offices and departments.

 

About the Role 

Your responsibilities include 

  • Manage portfolio revenue, identify gaps and proactively chase down multiple channels to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly budgets.
  • Build revenue forecasts based on data and market intelligence to provide internal and external stakeholders with an accurate view of monthly and quarterly revenue achievement.
  • Exercise exceptional commercial judgment in all aspects of sales by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the television landscape and utilising sales USP’s accordingly.
  • Proactively pitch new ideas and present FOXTEL MEDIA updates and post advertising analysis to clients at an appropriate level.
  • Proactively upsell premium/last minute airtime, FOXTEL MEDIA focus channels and other priorities.
  • Maintain a high level of market presence, including face to face meetings, to build and nurture relationships with media agencies and clients to ensure each all objectives are achieved.
  • Secure win:win partnerships and improved trading terms and yield on key clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of channel partner products and content, and work with client partnerships to maximise revenue opportunities across partner groups including developing long term client strategies.
  • Work effectively across TV, digital and client partnerships to maximise cross platform revenue opportunities.

 

About You 

Your experience and capability include 

  • Ability to drive and achieve results in a fast paced competitive and often times complex environment.
  • Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management.
  • Establishing rapport and effective working relationships in market and with Foxtel Media channel partners.
  • Proven history of excelling in a high performance sales culture.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Media Landscape.
  • 5+ years Sales experience.
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, self-motivated and driven.
