  • Who are we looking for?

    Students and volunteers are integral to our workforce and services at AnglicareSA. As a Volunteer & Student Placement Coordinator you will join our Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Team so that we can look at our workforce holistically, ensuring new students and volunteers align with our values, and that student placements lead to employment outcomes.

    This role will ideally suit someone who loves being involved within wider community. Someone passionate about identifying volunteering/career opportunities for our volunteers and students by collaborating with stakeholders in our various social services programmes leading to meaningful career / life experiences. 

    What can you expect to be doing?

  • Attract, engage, and retain suitable volunteers and students for the organisational needs.
  • Build talent pipeline by engaging with universities via student placements leading to employment opportunities.
  • Coordinate volunteer services across AnglicareSA by championing a culture that engages volunteers through regular communication, recognition, and collaboration initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer and student records for communication and reporting purposes.
  • Answer all queries received on volunteer and student mailboxes.
  • Promote AnglicareSA as an employer of choice with Universities and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
  • What do you need to bring?

  • Experience working with volunteers and/or students.
  • Warm personality with customer focus and a passion for volunteering. 
  • Knowledge / understanding of recruitment and selection process.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent time management/ prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with abilities to learn new technologies and improve processes.
