ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will drive a centralised Preventative Maintenance programme that reduces the Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) across the BAI communications managed networks and ensure we are meeting our customer deliverables for maintenance and inspections. The role will ensure best practices are implemented nationally (ensuring continued ISO9001 accreditation) with a view of ensuring compliance with Preventive Maintenance strategies in alignment with BAI quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Preventive Maintenance team
• Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan in alignment with the agreed customer contracts, standards, budget, and resourcing.
• Work with Area Managers to ensure schedules are defined and determine appropriate schedule adjustments as required.
• Responsible for the reporting of the performance of the Preventive Maintenance plan implementation and adherence to customer contractual metrics.
• Responsible for the customer reporting for the Preventive Maintenance plan implementation
• Responsible for the continued improvement of the Preventative Maintenance templates and documentation
• Drive ongoing improvement of network resilience and improve maintenance practices providing feedback to management, field techs and governance forums to ensure delivery of the plan.
• Responsible for the contractor database, and overarching operations maintenance contracts, relating to operational contractors managed by Service Integrity Unit
• Work with the asset and spares management team to improve inventory management across BAI Networks ensuring appropriate management of spares leading to optimisation of network asset and spares management.
• Ensure the quality of the Preventive Maintenance inspection reports provide by both SIU staff and operational contractors meets the expected level of compliance, completeness and accuracy of data to ensure network standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with Service Management Center to ensure PM plan is fit for purpose and aligns with operations planning and scheduling

ABOUT YOU
• Advanced Experience in an Operational/Industrial, Engineering or Technical environment
• Intermediate ISO9001 Experience
• Reporting skills and knowledge of Excel, PowerBI
• Technical writing, site design/drawing and reporting
• Experience in managing Preventive Maintenance standards and plans
• Tertiary Engineering qualification and/or practical experience (5+ years) in an asset preventative maintenance within infrastructure sectors (including telecommunications, broadcast, rail, mining, essential services)
