Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an APS6 Senior Engagement Strategy and Innovation Advisor (Digital) to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in the Adelaide CBD.

The Co-design and Engagement Branch is responsible for making sure participants, nominees, carers and families and disability sector stakeholders are informed about and engaged in the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Scheme.
 
The Strategy, Communications and Innovation team is responsible for leading strategy, communications and innovation projects and initiatives that support the delivery of the Agency’s engagement and co-design program.
We collaborate with other teams across the Agency to design, implement, and evaluate plans and strategies that improve the way we engage with participants and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:  

  • Contributing specialist and technical advice on the use of digital technologies to deliver engagement and co-design activities
  • Contributing your research and analytical skills to evaluating engagement and co-design functions and developing and testing new approaches
  • Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the way we capture and analyse engagement data and insights to inform decision-making
  • Contributing specialist knowledge and expertise on new and innovative approaches to engaging with people with disability and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of digital engagement strategies
  • Contributing to draft reports, briefing papers, speeches, Ministerial correspondence and discussion papers for review by Senior Executives
  • Undertaking data analysis to measure the effectiveness of activities and strategies, including identifying associated risks and trends
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:  

  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Gathering and interpreting customer or user experience to develop solutions to improve experience and drive change.
  • Providing strategic advice on how to design and implement digital solutions to enhance customer or user experience.
  • Maintaining a sound knowledge of innovations in digital engagement, including current tools and platforms.
  • Influencing stakeholders to drive change.
  • An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable.

    This role is at the APS6 level equivalent offering $. per hour + .% super. The rate of pay is casually loaded, as you will not be accruing annual or sick leave.
