Location: Brisbane QLD

Salary: $85,000 Annually

The territory you will manage covers Brisbane as well as regional Queensland as far south as New South Wales’ Northern Rivers. About the role
Main tasks: Generate new business opportunities and work with an existing portfolio of customers in this varied, field-based sales role.

Other tasks:

  • Demonstrate your technical aptitude to ensure client needs are clearly understood and fulfilled
  • Manage tender and proposal processes
  • Show your ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Liaise with your team and other business divisions to meet business goals
  • Contribute to the business by generating ideas and opportunities
  • Network and build rapport with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Travel regularly south to northern New South Wales as part of your assigned territory

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Prior success in new business sales & account management
  • Experience with MS Office, and ideally ERP, CRM, & quality assurance software

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Extensive sales experience in infrastructure or a related space
  • Knowledge of the construction or steel fabrication industries
  • The ability to read basic, technical drawings
