About the role: 

Based at our St Johns Home for men in Toowong, our lifestyle assistants are a vital part of the team. They work to help with planning, implementation and evaluation of activities and lifestyle programs that enable our residents to participate in various experiences that improve their quality of life. We currently have a permanent part time opportunity to join us.

  • What we are looking for:

    To enable us to continue to provide the highest quality, person-centered care we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Proven background in planning, conducting, and evaluating activity and diversional therapy programs
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of people including staff, management, and residents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Commitment to ongoing quality improvement and professional development of the service and yourself
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment 
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • National Police Certificate
