Job Description

Our Brisbane team is looking for an experienced and passionate professional to oversee effective, efficient administrative and financial functions as Administration Team Leader for our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. This is a full-time role (38hrs/wk) on a permanent full-time basis. The role is predominately based in Buranda but travel to other service sites – Booval, Riverview and Inala; within the Brisbane region will be required.

About You
As a natural leader, with a proactive approach, team-focussed and collaborative attitude coupled with an extensive background in high-level administration and office management we want to hear from you. If you possess:

  • Significant experience in a senior administrative role that included successfully balancing your own workload with leadership responsibilities
  • Management, guidance and support of multi-site teams; demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and guiding a team;
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational, negotiation and multi-tasking skills and the proven record of prioritising and juggling conflicting timeframes;
  • Ability to prepare complex documentation with accuracy, attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • High level of written and verbal communication and ability to establish rapport and professionalism with broad range of stakeholders both internal and external to the service.
  • Ability to utilise your initiative to make decisions and problem solve; exercise discretion and professional judgement
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new systems quickly and accurately
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Business Administration or similar field would be highly regarded
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
