The opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has come up to join our DC team on a Maternity Leave contract as a Dispatch Administrator. The purpose of this role is to be the critical link between our customers both internal and external and our transport service providers. You will provide timely information and feedback regarding deliveries, outstanding deliveries for both domestic and international shipments as well as having administration duties to perform. You will be based in our Altona North site, shortly there after we will be relocating to our Truganina 101 location! 

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaising with carriers directly about missing and or late deliveries
  • Obtaining POD’s for customers both internal and external
  • Organise collections and returns with carriers
  • Book small orders with DHL for export to other countries
  • Book exports with freight forwarder to NZ for our retail stores
  • Prepare freight invoices and monthly accruals
  • Prepare export documents
  • Create shipments within our ERP system
