The opportunity

:

To support this growth, we are seeking a Sales Coordinator who is a natural networker and can consistently deliver on client expectations.

Based in Cairns , you will lead the charge in growing our charter/events business across the region with the objective of supporting business development and maintaining key client relationships. This role will work closely with our Service Delivery team so you can understand our core operations and experience first-hand what we do best – moving people.    

What you can expect:

  • Pursuing new market opportunities whilst refining current business opportunities
  • Undertaking market research on competitors to ensure a continued competitive advantage
  • Working closely with Operations Controllers to ensure they have made appropriate charter allocations
  • Liaising with Workshop and Facilities staff in preparation for larger charter requirements
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, schools, employees, passengers and the general community to ensure our services meet the needs and expectations of all parties
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting to the Sales Manager ensuring data documentation is accurate

  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Marketing or related field, or relevant experience in sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse people
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to implement best sales practice and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) with ability to learn in-house systems
