  • About the Opportunity

    The Human Resources Shared Services will support the HR Operations Lead to ensure key programs, policies, systems, and procedures supporting the hire to retire employee lifecycle are implemented for Abt’s Australian corporate office and the EA&P region. The role will support HR solutions to align with OGA strategy and HR priorities.

    Additionally, the position will support the Head of Domestic Programs to deliver against Abt’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) initiatives.

    The HR Shared Service Centre Coordinator under the guidance of the HR Operations Lead:

  • Provide first level support to employees in the EA&P/UK regions as part of the HR Shared Services function, escalating and seeking advice as necessary to provide high quality, professional internal client service to employees.
  • Support and contribute to the development and implementation of hire to retire programs, policies, systems, procedures, and compliance frameworks for Abt’s Australian corporate office and the EA&P region.
  • Support the employee contracting function for Abt Australia’s corporate employees.
  • Support the Talent and Change Management COE as well as HR Business Partners with implementing performance management processes, and resources.
  • Deliver induction activities for corporate home office staff and contribute to the Employee Experience Onboarding Project.
  • Act as the first point of contact for receiving and responding to ATLAS questions for the EA&P region and Abt Britain, escalating matters to the HRIS Team as required; and provide support to COEs, Business Partners, and employees for ATLAS user training.
  • Support metrics and reporting for the EA&P region and Abt Britain.

  • Under the guidance of the Head of Domestic Programs:

  • Participate as active member of the RAP Working Group, supporting leadership with the achievement of key deliverables as agreed.
  • About You

    To be successful, the ideal candidate will share our values, be approachable, professional, agile, and self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ administration experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience using financial management systems and human resource information systems (Oracle experience would be preferred but not essential) – Level 1 HRIS troubleshooting skills and experience delivering user training would be advantageous.
  • Good problem solving, attention to detail skills, and confidence working with numbers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and to respond to changing priorities when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and cross-culturally.
  • Prior RAP experience desirable.
