The RoleReporting to the Head of Woolworths Group, the National Account Manager  (NAM) is responsible for driving SPC’s Customer Joint Business Plan with Woolworths. This requires working in conjunction with all areas of SPC, across marketing, demand planning, logistics, finance & sales to implement and execute plans that deliver long term sustainable business growth.

This role plays a pivotal part in achieving the Woolworths strategic business plans to drive and maximise growth, market share and profitability within the portfolio. This will be achieved through short-term and long-term development of the channel, influencing financial objectives, controlling key levers within the P&L, and identifying significant customer and product opportunities to develop, present and implement joint business plans with innovative and forward thinking strategies. 

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have 

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the major grocery channel.
  • An established reputation as a high achiever within a sales role in the FMCG industry.
  • A thorough understanding of the major grocery channel, customers, and competitive activity
  • Strong commercial acumen, planning & organisation skills, with a high attention to detail
