The Opportunity

The APAC Sales Manager, Education Sector role is responsible for the growth of ourDigital MediaEducation Sector business (Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Adobe Express) throughout the APAC region. This role will partner with an existing sales ecosystem of Country Sales Leaders, SectorAccount Executives, and Channel Partner Managers to drive our growth into the Education sector across the Enterprise andSMBcustomer segments. The successful candidate will need to work seamlessly in a matrixed environment to ensure alignment on overall go-to-market goals and business objectives..

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the leader of Adobe’sDigital MediaEducation Sector business for the APAC region which includes Australia, New Zealand, India, South East Asia, Korea and Greater China
  • Take responsibility to deliver our Enterprise andSMByearlyfinancialplans – which include new business and customer retention goals
  • Become an evangelist for Adobe’sDigital MediaEducationSector value propositionand engage directly with Education Sector customers and key channel business partners
  • Align with in-country regional leaders (who own the peoplemanagementresponsibilities for our sales and channel partner teams), to drive sales success.
  • Regularly interface with representatives from Adobe’s Education Sector Business Unit in the US to keep across key product updates, business roadmaps and best practices. Represent the APAC region to give regional perspectives and raise important business requests.
  • Engage with regional peers across Japan, Americas and EMEA to share best practices and learnings.
  • Partner withregional salesenablement teams to drive training engagements that improve thesales effectivenessof our internal sellers and partner eco systems
  • Build a strong business partnership withField Marketing
  • Be the owner and driver of APAC’s strategic Education Sectorbusiness plan.
  • Regularly bring APAC’s Education Sector focussed resources together to motivate the team, communicate important business updates, share best practices and build avirtual teamenvironment.
  • Engage with Enterprise andSMBEducation Sector sales reps to build sustainable and predictable revenue strategies that enable them to deliver ahead of plan. Help optimise their day-to-day sales activities and drive engagements that optimise revenue conversion (includingpipeline generationandsales funnel management).
  • Engage with regionalEnterprise salesand channel leaders to formulate education sector sales forecasts across the Enterprise andSMBbusiness (leveragingsales operationsreportingand/orSalesforce.comas required).
  • Question the status quo and strive foroperational excellence.
  • What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years driving Education Sector sales in software and/or SaaS solutions with 5+ years peopleleadershipexperience.
  • Strong ability to engage with, and be relevant to, the various senior roles/titles that make software decisions in Higher Education/K12
  • A proven track record of driving scalable programs/strategies that acquire new customers, grow existing customer spend, drive high renewal rates and delight customers (across Enterprise andSMBEducation Sector customers)
  • Experience working with channel eco-systems to drive sales at scale and unlock new market opportunities.
  • Proven track record in leading through others within a matrixed organization.
  • Excellentpeople leadershipskills; ability toinfluenceand driveaccountabilityandownershipat all levels.
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets by enabling sales organisation to deliver.
  • Exceptional sales instincts with the ability to tune a sales engine for predictability, linearity and dedication.
  • Experience usingCRMandpipeline managementtools (Salesforce.comexperience an advantage)
  • Superior influencing,negotiationandcommercial skills
  • Self-motivated and self-managing.Highly ethical; will always do what is right by the organisation and customer over personal gain.
  • Ability to travel throughout the APAC region, if required
