PETstock Country Brindabella – Located in the ACT (Hume) | Seeking a Storeroom Assistant who also excels in Customer Service!

Here is what you can expect to be doing day to day when you join our fun, friendly & inclusive team!

A day in the life…

• Make the storeroom space your own by ensuring the smooth running of the storeroom, including processing of deliveries & orders, stocktake, cleaning and organising tasks
• Assist with all stock control processes, including counting & receiving goods.
• Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate
• Pack & load orders in prep for delivery
• Providing exceptional customer service where you & your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire & educate customers on the best care & products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Work with your team mates to make sure the store looks its best at all the times, ensuring all the latest stock is on the shelves
• Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provide
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

As part of the recruitment process, you will:

• Need a printed copy of your driving history
• Undergo a National Criminal Police Check
• Undergo a Medical Check (including Drug & Alcohol check)

What will you bring? You’re a motivated individual who has previous customer service experience, is organised & shows initiative.

• You must have a current full driver’s licence & Forklift Licence.  You will demonstrate a high level of safety, both on the road & in the workplace!
• A medium rigid or truck licence is desirable but not essential! 

With the moving of stock, loading & packing aspect, you will need to be physically fit as you may be lifting up to 25kg products. 

We offer a range of hours, but you will need to be flexible and available to work weekends & public holidays… 
Most importantly, you love animals, care about customers & you possess a strong work ethic coupled with a positive attitude and proven reliability!
