Due to growth, a fantastic opportunity has now become available for an experienced full-time Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our client’s National Human Resources Department.

The Appointment

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and achieve outcomes, strong market knowledge and demonstrated ‘go getter’ attitude will set you above the competition.

The ideal candidate will also be a team player, results focused and willing to go the extra mile.

Key duties are but not limited to:

• Running talent attraction campaigns nationally including executive search and selection
• Managing the full recruitment process – advertising, screening, interviews, pre-employment checks up to final contract stage
• Regular liaison with key stakeholders to create a national recruitment optimisation plan incorporating the use of innovative technologies such as an external recruitment landing page via the company website
• Working with government and business networks to gain access to job programs and funding opportunities
• Attendance of best practice recruitment workshops, technology and training forums as required
• Ad hoc projects as directed by the People and Culture Manager

In addition, we require:

• Extensive agency or internal recruitment experience
• High level of communication, business acumen and written skills
• Proficient in undertaking the full end to end recruitment process
• Comprehensive understanding of privacy protocols, work right checks and relevant legislative requirements (example equal opportunity employment standards)
• Intermediate level kills – MS Office Suite
• Proven track record in using strategies to source the best talent in a skill-shortage marketplace, negotiate, build networks, and run innovative talent attraction campaigns
• Enjoying being a team player who can achieve results
• Be able to be a lateral thinker who thinks outside of the ‘status quo’
