  • The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), the principal organisation representing the medical specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking to appoint a Recruitment Administrator.

    Reporting to the Senior National Manager Human Resources, this position will be responsible to assist with the the end-to-end recruitment process of all RANZCP vacancies in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, policies and procedures.

    This role has a specific focus to:

  • Administration of job advertisements, position descriptions, internal authorisations, shortlisting, candidate management and interview applications.
  • Interview applicants as the HR representative on the interview panel.
  • Assit with finalising offers and generating employment contracts for all new and internal appointments.
  • Provide support for all recruitment queries, including external recruitment agencies, College staff and management.
  • Administration, maintenance and development of the Expr3ss Database.
  • Advise internal stakeholders with regard to recruitment queries and internal processes.
  • Assit with the development and maintenance of recruitment policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and best practice guidelines.
  • Assit with coordination of recruitment projects.
  • New employee record administration, onboarding and filing.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Senior Manager, Human Resources.
  • The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, business or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or an agency.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working within a corporate professional environment.
  • Demonstrated interviewing experience and understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and develop reports, presentations, proposals, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels and the capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in Expr3ss! recruitment database is desirable, but not essential.
  • Highly proficient computer and Microsoft Office programs skills is essential (including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
