The Role
This is a brand-new role, reporting to the GM of Marketing working within the wider Marketing team, and leading a team to drive our client’s online presence.

As our client continues to develop and grow their digital capabilities, the eCommerce Manager, will be responsible for developing and executing the eCommerce and marketplace strategies in collaboration with a team of digital experts and external agency partners. This involves managing the performance of all websites and third-party marketplaces, ensuring sales forecasts are met, and enhancing the overall customer experience. 

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the ANZ eCommerce and marketplace strategies
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive test-and-learn program to increase site performance,
  • CRO, CX, UI, and content
  • Brief and manage development tasks/ site maintenance with internal teams and external agencies
  • Manage physical store data, recommending eCommerce optimization initiatives, executing retail campaigns
  • Merchandise and optimize products, measure website speed, monitor fraud levels, and process chargebacks.
  • The role requires comprehensive knowledge of business systems and the ability to manage and track P&L
  • Lead and develop a team of digital-savvy specialists with the opportunity to grow the digital team

About You

  • We’re searching for an experienced eCommerce Manager with 5/6 years of experience working in a retail or similar industry. 
  • You will have a proven ability to manage and deliver an eCommerce strategy
  • You will have experience managing third-party platforms (Amazon/ eBay)
  • You will be data-driven with the ability to analyze consumer and website behaviour and manage P&L
  • You demonstrate leadership skills, combined with excellent communication skills to communicate with all stakeholders
