Key Account Manager

Location: Melbourne VIC
Work Type: Full time
Salary: $110,000 Annually

About the role
Main tasks: Drive growth through increased sales and profit margin in the food and beverage space across your territory of high-quality separation and purification solutions

Other tasks:

  • Implement a customer account plan to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with various decision-makers.
  • Expand customer base by networking and following up on leads.
  • Drive sales of new products and applications.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase market share and competitive advantage.
  • Support customers by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Stay updated on customer preferences and industry trends.
  • Monitor competitive activity and direct sales personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales management and services team to ensure ongoing sales.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Successful business-to-business sales experience, ideally in scientific or technical supplies
  • Completed studies in food science, food technology, biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or business management

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Working knowledge of separation, purification & filtration processes & related equipment.
  • Experience working within the food & beverage industry
