Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and passionate volunteer professional to join our Home Care team. As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will develop and drive volunteer services within Community Aged Care, including creating innovative programs and opportunities.

You will lead the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers that maximises volunteer participation and engagement.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Develop, drive and provide supervision for volunteer services throughout Community Aged Care
  • Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding and training that support the volunteer to succeed in their role
  • Actively liaise with external stakeholders to promote opportunities to maximise volunteer participation and engagement
  • Provide support and coaching to volunteer supervisors around best practice in volunteer management
  • Promote strategies to enhance the engagement and retention of volunteers
  • What do you need to bring?

  • Community Sector Management (Volunteer Management) or related experience
  • Experience in volunteer program delivery
  • Experience in volunteer recruitment, onboarding and support
  • Coaching, mentoring and well developed communication skills
  • Relationship management skills to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Sector (highly desirable)
