Job Description

Research and Development Assistant Manager or Manager required to work for a well-respected and dynamic accounting and advisory practice in Essendon. With a strong brand, a loyal client following and a workplace culture that is both supportive and flexible.

The role will be integral in supporting, writing and managing applications for corporate advisory services, strategic planning, acquisition and management, and tax incentive services.

Duties include:

Prepare and lodge R&D tax applications, EMDG applications, and grant applications including scope of work and expenditure management

Preparation of supporting documentation and audit requirements

Manage project budgets and cashflows

Preparation of strategic plans for growth opportunities

Manage resourcing and funding requirements

Seek continuous improvements and identify potential risks

Your skills experience:

Prior experience in grants and R&D tax

Industry experience in accounting, finance or law

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Prior experience in technical or scientific writing

A high attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong internal and external relationship management
