Recruitment Advisor

The Recruitment Advisor will ensure the sourcing and onboarding of suitably qualified and experienced candidates as well as talent pipelining across the Resource Development Group (RDG) and its subsidiary companies.

Reporting to the Managing Director , you will also provide HR administration and employment advice and guidance, as required.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Managing the end-to-end recruitment process including job briefings, advertising, resume screening, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and collating qualifications, certificates, and licences

Ensuring the effective communication to internal stakeholders in relation to candidate status, updates, and application outcomes

Coordinating pre-employment checks, which includes booking pre-employment medical, security checks, proof of entitlement to work in Australia and police checks

Ordering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for new starters

Facilitating timely new starter on boarding and employee transfers and maintaining recruitment and mobilisation trackers

What you’ll bring to the team

Minimum of 3 years recruitment experience in a fast paced and busy business environment, which may include agency or consultancy experience

Previous experience in a construction environment would be desirable but not essential

An ability to work standalone and manage a busy workspace with multiple business needs and priorities, is essential

A proven track record in building relationships across all levels of the organisation with professional communication skills

A high level of computer literacy with advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and in particular Excel

Previous exposure to PageUp would be highly desirable, but it can be trained
