About the role

We are looking for a Store Design Manager to join our expanding Property team here at the Just Group. Reporting into the Group Manager – Store Design & Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of store fit-out projects and negotiating with landlords. This is a full-time position based at our Support Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Oversee individual store fit-out projects end-to-end, including documentation and management of external suppliers and shop fitters
• Preparation of concept designs and presentation packages in line with the project brief
• Preparation of standards and guideline packages including 2D and 3D REVIT documentation
• Ensure all fit-out documentation, including REVIT / CAD documents, correspondence, quotes etc.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal such as brand leaders, leasing team, visual merchandisers and external stakeholders including architects, landlords, suppliers and shop fitters

Skills & Experience

• A qualification in Architecture or Interior design, Minimum 5 years industry experience
• Strong technical skills with a good understanding of Revit modelling, detailing and documentation
• Strong knowledge of shop fitting, joinery, metal fabrication, general construction methods
• Knowledge of Adobe creative suite and Microsoft office
• Understanding of the Australian Building Code (BCA)
