Job Description

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our branch in Moranbah QLD and service our customers’ needs across a range of equipment, including access, power generation, pumping and civil products.

In this role, your key accountabilities will be to:

•    Carry out all mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers & OHS requirements
•    Attend to breakdowns and repairs, both on sites and workshop
•    Programmed / Engine Servicing both in the workshop and field
•    Monitor reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
•    Develop and monitor systems to ensure scheduled servicing and repairs carried out to the appropriate standards

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and experience

•    Trade qualification mechanical, hydraulics, and/or fitter
•    Superior skills in trouble shooting and fault finding
•    Current driver’s licence
•    Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences not essential but are highly regarded
•    Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and customers
•    Strong focus and commitment to safety
•    Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded
