Assistant Parts Manager

An awesome full time, permanent role has come up for an Assistant Parts Manager to join our fast-paced Parts and Warehouse Team. You’ll be based in our Chipping Norton Branch, working closely with the Parts Manager, you’ll motivate and mentor a dedicated, hard-working team!

In this role you will:

Assist with leading and developing the Parts and Warehouse team to meet individual and team goals.

Safety leadership – walk the talk and advocate for safety at all times.

Maintain high level standards of housekeeping and engagement within business operations

Assist with the development and implementation of operating plans with the ability to help achieve financial & operational targets.

Ensure the team consistently exceeds expectations of internal and external customer.

Assist with the management of the Warehouse and large scale inventory function

About you:

Leadership experience in an automotive environment.

Demonstrable experience in managing, developing and motivating a team to achieve their best.

Customer focused with a team-player mindset

Able to build great working relationships with colleagues and customers, representing the Penske brand with a high level of professionalism

High energy/high output persona, with a resilient nature

Fantastic written and verbal communication skills to easily speak to people from all walks of life.

Intermediate MS office skills with the ability to learn internal software systems

Strong experience in understanding and interpreting automotive, inventory and financial reports
